We can arrange pick up and transfers to Beaumaris, followed by a guided tour around the nearby castle, gaol and church. Then why not walk the Wales Coast Path with its stunning views of Snowdonia, before heading on to; Aberlleiniog Motte, Bailey, Penmon Priory and Dovecote ending at Penmon Point Cafe by the infamous Puffin Island.

Beaumaris Castle

The last of the great castles built in Wales by Edward the first in 1295. A masterpiece of military defensive architecture, built on a flat site "Beau Mareys" or fair marsh in Norman French. With extensive views of the Menai Straits and Snowdonia, this World Heritage Site is the perfect place to start your walk.

Beaumaris Gaol

Built by Joseph Hansom (of the Hansom Cab) in 1829, the gaol gives a fascinating insight into the daily lives of prisoners during Victorian times. Here you will learn about Anglesey's most notorious criminals.

Beaumaris Church

Here lies the coffin of Joan (known in Wales as Siwan) who was the wife of Llywelyn the Great and daughter of King John of England, another wonder of the Isle.

Aberlleniog

The restored "motte and Bailey" castle dates back to Norman times. Built by Hugh D'avranches, Earl of Chester, it was later taken by Welsh Prince Gruffydd ap Cynan, the last Viking Prince of Gwynedd.

Penmon Priory and Dovecote

A monastic settlement from the 6th century, built by a Celtic saint, probably St. Seiriol. End your walk with views out to Puffin Island and the lighthouse.
