"WOW BRILLIANT"

We first visited the Plas Rhianfa just over a year ago whilst renovation work was still in progress, so after a lecture on Health and Safety and wearing hard hats we inspected the building, stepping on joints as the floor boards were yet to be laid and dodging the electrical cables but, it took us just two minutes to decide this was the only venue that was going to be good enough for my daughter`s wedding. The wedding reception took place on the 27th April 2013 and could only be described as 'stunning'. From the onset, we never felt like guests, more like family of the house. Every one of our eighty guests loved the Plas Rhianfa experience.
The management have nurtured a tremendous team of happy individuals, keen to please and efficient to military precision. Congratulations to the Chef for not only providing us with superb food but accommodating some strange eating disorders of some of our guests, nothing was ever too much trouble.
We had squeaky clean guests in the hot tub, budding Pavarotis in the wine cellar, friendly competition in the games room, the more sedate in the reading and music rooms, the adventurous ones outside with the log burners and all the 'John Travoltas' on the dance floor.

My only regret? I have run out of daughters needing a reception as I would just love to repeat the entire day. Well done the Plas Rhianfa team and a massive 'thank you'.

"Another splendid week on the delightful isle of Anglesey"

Please convey our appreciation to the hotel owner Mike Clare. He may like to know that as a family, we feel very fortunate to have found and secured Plas Rhianfa for such a special occasion (Daughter's wedding). What Mr Clare has achieved on Anglesey is simply breathtaking. His sense of style and attention to detail is inspirational.

"A Truly Amazing Hotel"

No amount of research on the internet could have prepared us for Plas Rhianfa,  it is a truly amazing hotel. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The views are superb, especially from the dining room! This was our first trip to Anglesey and we found a lot to do and see in the area. Highly recommended for a weekend get-away - we certainly hope to be back.

"Pure Indulgence"

Magical, Romantic, Quirky and just simply pure indulgence. That's the best way to describe the three times I have visited Plas Rhianfa.

"If only we could have stayed longer"

Unfortunately we only spent one night here, but that was enough to know that this is pretty unique place. We stayed in the Duchess Room which has breathtaking views of the Menai Straits. The room has a bath tub set in the massive window which allows you to sit in a warm bath and watch the night come. The view of the snow dusted mountains and dramatic sky are unforgettable. This is the reason to stay in this room. 

Away from the room the hotel offers a variety unique places to read, write, drink, eat or just sit and enjoy the views. The wine cave is particularly atmospheric. 

The menu in the restaurant is simple but the food is beautiful. The steak was a highlight, while the locally sourced scallops great. 

Staff are friendly, well informed about the history of the place and helpful. Stephen was a particularly engaging member of staff who we enjoyed chatting with. 

If it's a little bit of luxury you're after stay here. We'll certainly be going back.

"Nothing was ever too much"

Everything it is truly amazing just magical pure luxury if you're looking for something extra  special this is the place to stay out of this world Quirky and different . Every single room is outstanding with beauty and class The most amazing views the grounds are beautiful this is the place for a nice quiet break pure luxury at its very best Food to die and for service second to none.
